Integrative & Remedial Massage

Massage is available to treat a wide range of physical, functional and, in some instances, psychological symptoms by manually manipulating soft tissue in the client’s body.

Target tissues can include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints or other connective tissue, in addition to lymphatic vessels, and/or organs of the gastrointestinal system.

Massage can help reduce swelling and promote lymphatic drainage. It can be applied with the hands, fingers, elbows and forearm.

Integrative Massage is the application of specific treatment protocols targeting a specific problem the client presents with. It is the practical application of several hands on techniques to treat the specific area of a client’s dysfunction during a massage session.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is an alternative form of holistic therapy that uses essential oils to help improve and balance both emotional and physical body, while helping you to take time out for yourself, to be mindful and to reconnect with yourself. The aromas experienced through aromatherapy and essential oils have a dynamic effect on the mind and body.

The effect is experienced through the sense of smell which is linked to the deepest parts of our brain controlled by your basic instincts, thoughts and emotions. On a physical level, essential oils are known to ease muscular aches and pains, improve circulation, ease sinus congestion and act as a strong antioxidant.
